On Friday, August 15, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. PDT, VectorUSA, TE Connectivity and Tellabs will host an “Afternoon at the Races,” at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, located at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd in Del Mar, CA. Featuring food, beverages and live musical entertainment, the event will center on providing a demonstration of an optical LAN system's "blazing speed and scalability," according to a press release.

VectorUSA is a technology integration firm focused on offering unified voice, video and data network services; AV and video conferencing services, wireless networking, and managed services. For the demonstration, in partnership with TE and Tellabs, VectorUSA will focus on the need to adapt and replace old LAN copper cabling infrastructure with the latest optical LAN offerings.

VectorUSA says the demonstration will highlight optical LANs’ speed, scalability, simple upgrading, easy management and standardization, all at lower cost.
