Free Windows software simplifies configuration on a PC via USB and enables advanced features such as encryption and analog signal calibration.
The units' weather-tight enclosure is cast aluminum with a glass window and a corrosion-resistant powder coating for field mounting. Units can mount directly to a supporting conduit or securely to pipes and walls.
“This wireless I/O bridge provides a very effective solution to interface signals from Point A to Point B where it is not practical to run long wires or conduit,” asserts Robert Greenfield, Acromag’s business development manager.
Each VWB2000 unit has both inputs and outputs for bi-directional communication. Analog inputs accept 4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, or 1-5V signals. Analog output is 4-20mA. Digital I/O channels support 0-5V TTL logic levels. Modbus RTU serial communication is EIA-485 compatible.
