Termination block system
Krone's Ultim8 termination block system meets Category 5e and Category 6 requirements, delivering a near-end crosstalk of 63 dB at 100 MHz, according to company claims. Designed for use with data system components or voice applications, it can support Gigabit Ethernet transmission speeds. The center port de sign lets you isolate the circuit for testing in either direction without moving wires. These blocks may be mounted against a wall, as well as on both the front and back of an equipment rack, since only front access is required.

Power over Ethernet wireless bridge
MiLAN's Power over Ethernet (PoE)-capable ShAir Bridge wireless network extender is designed to provide network connections across buildings or campuses. With a variety of indoor and outdoor antenna options ranging from 4 to 18 dBi, it provides connectivity up to 3.4 miles at 11 Mbits/sec, according to company claims. The bridge can be configured and mon itored from anywhere on the subnet with a simple network management protocol (SNMP) interface, and its firmware is flash-upgradeable.

Quabbin Wire & Cable's UTP, communications media riser (CMR)-rated, solid-conductor DataMax 6 Horizontal cable has an overall diameter of 0.225 inches, resulting in the potential for 25% more cables to be installed per run. Textile-based oversleeve
Comprised of a woven blend of 100% flame-retardant textile materials, Federal-Mogul Systems Protection Group's Roundit 2000 SE oversleeve protects and bundles electrical and optical-fiber cable assemblies, as well as Category 5 and 6 copper. The oversleeve meets the "Riser Flame Test" requirements, Under writers Lab oratories Inc. 1666, and CSA FT-4 (UL 1685), qualifying it to protect vertically-installed cables in shafts. In addition, the oversleeve features a self-wrapping design to let you assemble and remove the product for upgrades and maintenance.
