Belden will give technology professionals at Cisco Live 2019, held June 9-13 at the San Diego Convention Center, an up-close look at creating smart building infrastructure. IT professionals who visit Belden's booth no. 3221 will learn about the company’s technology infrastructure capabilities through an immersive 360° dome that showcases the connectivity used in a state-of-the-art, high-tech ballpark to bring fan experiences to life. Visitors will also be able to interact through a touchscreen experience with a smart building connected with Belden solutions in different applications.

Show attendees will experience the abilities of networking technology available now from Belden to improve network performance and reduce deployment time, including: a full line of REVConnect connectivity solutions that the company says decrease install time and simplify the termination process, including the REVConnect Preloaded Patch Panel, designed for fast installation using Belden’s universal REVConnect core technology; and the benefits of fusion splicing combined with the simplicity of field-installable connectors via the company's FiberExpress Fusion Splice-On Connectors

In San Diego, Belden is also proud to host partner Innovative Lighting to demonstrate how and why Power over Ethernet (PoE) LED lighting is being incorporated into smart buildings. The collaboration between Belden and Innovative Lighting helps technology professionals gain better control, efficiency and cost savings with LED systems, say the companies.

Also at Cisco Live, Belden’s Daniel Charles, product line manager for the company's connectivity systems, will explore examples that illustrate the true costs of network downtime and critical network choke points. This session, held on June 10 at 1:15 pm in the convention center's Solutions Theater in the World of Solutions space, will also explain to attendees how to overcome the issue of “technical debt.”

Per the company, "Resolving signal transmission needs with IP- and legacy-based solutions that enable a smooth migration to convergence requires a universal approach for enterprise environments. Only Belden’s innovative enterprise connectivity solutions take this universal approach. Belden’s extensive portfolio spans LAN, data centers, building automation and security, and access control to keep information running smoothly. Outstanding global service and support capabilities and application-specific warranty programs complete Belden’s unique offering."
