TechLogix Network creates security, audio-visual, and datacom solutions, and will be launching new networking solutions at the 2023 CEDIA Expo. The expo will be held from September 7th through 9th in Denver, Colorado at the Colorado Convention center, with the company’s booth being #3121. 10G media converters, media converter rack mounting trays, and network switches are among some of the products being released.
TechLogix’s media converters are adaptable to varying fiber optic and twisted pair signals. Some of these models include solutions for PoE+ injection, LC and SC connections, and 1G and 10G bandwith. The TL-MC10G-1S1R (empty SFP+ slot), TL-MC10G-1S1R-MM (preloaded with a multimode SFP+ transceiver), and the TL-MC10G-1S1R-SM (preloaded with a single mode SFP+ transceiver) are the new 10G solutions provided.
The company’s rack-mount tray (the TL-RKMC-14) holds and powers up to 14 media converters. The system has a bevy of features including: two switching redundant power supplies with circuit protection, slot isolation between units, and two high-volume cooling fans.
For twisted pair and fiber optic infrastructures the units are all unmanaged. Although the TL-NS5R-POE and TL-NS5R1S-POE may seem similar in that they both deliver 30W PoE per channel, the first is a five-port switch and the second is a four-port switch that has one twisted pair and one SFP uplink port.
The TL-NS42-POE has many of same features of the TL-NS5R1S-POE, however it comes with two SFP uplink ports (versus the one) for daisy-chaining over fiber. While both the TL-NS8R and the TL-NS8R2U-POE both have an eight-port unmanaged switch, the first is a non-PoE and the second is and includes 30W PoE per channel with two twisted pair uplink ports.
The only 24-port unmanaged switch is the TL-NS24R2S-POE which delivers 30W of PoE per channel and has two SFP uplink ports and rack-mounting hardware.
TechLogix clearly is making major moves in the network solutions sphere with all the available options provided, which may prove to be fruitful at its debut at the CEDIA 2023 Expo.
