Among OmniCable’s new hires it has brought on Keith Hopkins as Vice-President of Strategic Accounts in the Communications Business Unit. Hopkins’ responsibilities include “leading the execution of OmniCable's growth strategies with the largest distributors and manufacturers in the communications enterprise market”.
Hopkins commented on his hiring on stating, “I am excited to join the team at OmniCable and help launch a redistribution strategy tailored to the enterprise communication marketplace.”
Hopkins has several decades of experience in the communications industry as well as in distribution, with a couple of years in the data center sector. He spent 33 years at Accu-Tech in a variety of roles those of which included him overseeing a national sales teams and handling “some of the world's largest global hyperscale and integration companies”.
In July, OmniCable announced its Datacom Business Unit and now confidently believes it has a dedicated team which can home in on broadband and enterprise products and solutions for its distributor customers.
