Ethernet Alliance has announced that 2025’s Technology Exploration Forum (TEF) Ethernet for AI presentation materials are available for free to view and download. The forum, held in December of last year, focused on how Ethernet is evolving to meet the growing needs of AI. Speakers covered topics such as 400 Gb/s signaling and the progression of 3.2T Ethernet, as well as test methods, cooling, power, and system design complications in AI environments.

The event’s attendees also received early access and printed copies of the Ethernet Alliance’s 2026 Ethernet Roadmap, which charts Ethernet’s next decade. Peter Jones, Chairman, Ethernet Alliance, described the roadmap saying, “The 2026 Ethernet Roadmap highlights where the industry is heading and how Ethernet is adapting – scaling for AI, expanding across new markets, and pushing efficiency to the next level.”

On top of the TEF 2025: Ethernet for AI presentation materials, the Ethernet Alliance’s 2026 roadmap, as well as the technical papers “Why 2.5GBASE-T and 5GBASE-T?” and “Evolving Infrastructure Requirements for AI Data Centers”, have all been made available to download for free.

The “Why 2.5GBASE-T and 5GBASE-T?” paper discusses the progression of 2.5GBASE-T and 5GBASE-T, technical specs and features, industry adoption and applications, and more. The “Evolving Infrastructure Requirements for AI Data Centers” paper goes over evolving data-center infrastructure requirements for AI deployments, concentrating on power density, cooling methods, network design, and cabling considerations, and more.

It should be noted that to download these resources, the site does require a form to be filled out with the user’s first name, last name, and email address.
