Thomas “Lee” Renfroe, who owns communications-system-installation company GoFroe based in Fitzgerald, GA, and currently serves as BICSI’s U.S. Southeast Region Director, has launched a dual campaign to help a child who is battling cancer.

According to a GoFundMe page Renfroe launched to benefit the child, Renfroe has not cut his hair in five years. When the GoFundMe campaign reaches its goal of $1,000, Renfroe will cut his hair—and donate the locks to Wigs For Kids, an organization that helps produce wigs for children with cancer.

The effort is also a personal one for Renfroe. He explained that all the money raised in the GoFundMe campaign “will go to a child that has been in our prayers for several years. This child fought cancer several years ago, and now has cancer again. I will donate all funds directly to the family’s GoFundMe page.” Renfroe is keeping the identify of the child anonymous until he donates the funds to the family, so the donation will be a surprise.

Renfroe provides more detail on his campaign of kindness in the video below.
