March 29, 2021
New line of enclosures come packed with standard features from the company's previous models, as well as some new benefits.

ICC (Fullerton, CA) has introduced a new line of 28-inch plastic residential enclosures. Built to meet residential requirements for structured wiring and media outlets, the company says the enclosures' new design aims for simple installation, compact storage, and easy transportation.

The new line of enclosures come packed with standard features from the company's previous models, as well as some new benefits. The new product's 1.2 cu ft box reduces storage space and shipping costs by 50%.

The enclosures' two-piece design features a simple 10-second tab assembly process. Reversible, vented doors are included. A bezel frame covers rough drywall edges. Further, the product's 0.1" thick plastic is 18% stronger than the big brands’ offerings, claims ICC.

The 28-inch plastic residential enclosures' ABS plastic construction improves Wi-Fi range, while the products' universal hole pattern accommodates most push-pin modules. Other key product features include the following:

  • 8-Port CAT6 data module.
  • 8-Port telephone module with RJ-31X jack.
  • 1x6 2 GHz video splitter module.
  • Built-in power knockouts (AC power outlet not included).
  • UL Listed and TAA compliant.

With all these features, the 28-inch plastic residential wiring enclosures are billed as an ideal choice for new construction and renovation projects. ICC offers two models: Model W - Voice and Data (ICRESDP28W) and Model K - Voice, Data, and Video (ICRESDP28K).
