AFL has expanded its One-Click Cleaner product line with the One-Click Cleaner MPO.
AFL has expanded its One-Click Cleaner product line with the One-Click Cleaner MPO. The new product, part of AFL’s Noyes cleaning products, is aimed at data center technicians.
The One-Click Cleaner MPO is a push-type cleaner designed to simplify ferrule end-face cleaning on both exposed MPO connectors and MPO connectors in adapters. As with the other cleaners in the product family, the One-Click Cleaner MPO uses AFL’s push-to-clean design, in which a mechanical push action advances the optical-grade cleaning tape, while cleaning the end-face of the fiber-optic connector.
“Proper cleaning of fiber-optic connectors prevents the most common causes of performance degradation, network and component failure, and network down time,” comments Kevin Haddock, product line manager for the AFL Noyes Test and Inspection division. “The new One-Click Cleaner MPO makes the cleaning of MPO connectors easier than ever."
