Cisco powers breakthrough cloud native mobile network

The foundation of Japan's new Rakuten Mobile Network architecture and telco-cloud will extensively use Cisco software and services, and routing and switching hardware. Cisco delivered technology from its Cloud, IT and Service Provider businesses, as well as engineering, multi-vendor system integration, security and operations expertise.

Panduit issued 2 patents for fiber-optic technology innovations

According to Mission Critical magazine, the patents are for a hybrid optical fiber and copper conductor cable assembly (patent No.10-215934) and a modular fiber optic tray (patent No.10-215944).

Legrand has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Universal Electric Corporation (UEC), a specialist in the development of flexible, customizable power distribution systems, and manufacturer of the STARLINE and U-S Safety Trolley suites of products. The acquisition will enhance Legrand’s global position in the data center power industry.
