Legrand has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Universal Electric Corporation (UEC), a specialist in the development of flexible, customizable power distribution systems, and manufacturer of the STARLINE and U-S Safety Trolley suites of products. The acquisition will enhance Legrand’s global position in the data center power industry.
The company says its RocketRibbon extreme-density cable meets demands for high-bandwidth high-fiber capacity, providing twice the fiber count in approximately the footprint of traditional central tube and stranded ribbon tube cables.
