BICSI unveils new logo and corporate image

BICSI unveiled a new logo and corporate image at the 2005 Winter Conference in Orlando.

BICSI made the changes, responding to the changing telecommunications industry and marking a new era for the association and its members. The logo includes a new tagline, "advancing information transport systems," which replaces "a telecommunications association" in the association logo.

BICSI President Russ Oliver says the new logo and tagline help better define BICSI's role in the emerging information transport systems industry.

"For 30 years, BICSI has been called a telecommunications association, but times have changed," Oliver says. "BICSI is not just telecommunications any more. We are much, much more."

The new logo will begin appearing on new BICSI materials and will be phased in as manuals and other publications are updated.
