Network Technologies Inc. (NTI - Aurora, OH) has announced the addition of its Rugged Door Contact Sensors to its line of environment monitoring system sensors. The two new models introduced are designed for commercial and industrial installations in harsh environments.

The E-DCSR-V2 Rugged Door Contact Sensor from NTI is an industrial-grade floor-mount switch that is primarily used for the protection of overhead doors where the operation of heavy motorized traffic would make it impossible to use any type of plastic-encapsulated switch.

The E-DCSR-UV2 Rugged Door Contact Sensor with Universal Style Magnet can be mounted at various angles for difficult installations.

The sensors are constructed with heavy-cast metal housing and integrated 3.06-ft armored cable.

A wide operating gap distance of up to 2.5 inches makes installation easy and helps prevent false alarms caused by door movement or damaged and loose fitting doors.

The new sensors are for use with a normally-open or normally-closed circuit connection, and connect to a digital input screw terminal on NTI's Enviromux E-2D/5D/16D, E-1W, E-MINI-LXO or E-MICRO Environment Monitoring Systems.

Available for immediate sale, both the E-DCSR-V2 and E-DCSR-UV2 Rugged Door Contact Sensors cost $60 each. For more information, visit https://www.networktechinc.com/door-contact-sensor.html.
