Avaya Holdings Corp. (NYSE: AVYA) today announced a resale agreement with NVT Phybridge to provide that company's long reach, single-pair Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches for IP modernization projects as part of Avaya’s unified communications portfolio.
NVT Phybridge is a specialist in long reach PoE technology, which it says eliminates 'rip-and-replace' for organizations with legacy infrastructure seeking to migrate to IP and modern LAN infrastructure supporting unified communications and digital contact centers. Optimized for making long distance IP connections simple, secure, and cost-effective, the company says its series of long reach switches enable customers to modernize to IP-based networks, transforming existing or new infrastructure into an IP path with power.
Per the company, "NVT Phybridge long reach PoE switches are proven to help customers save money, eliminate risk and disruption, and create a robust and highly secure network platform; eliminating infrastructure barriers that keep customers stuck on TDM.
