Legrand has introduced a new Wiremold in-wall device box designed to provide power, communications and audio/video connectivity to wall-mounted flat screen monitors.

The company's Evolution Series Flat Screen Wall Box is available in 4-gang and 2-gang options designed to offer complete flexibility for any combination of connectivity devices. The box supports digital displays in conference and meeting rooms and training facilities in commercial offices, as well as for educational, medical, and other institutions.

Further, the flat screen wall box features unique removable modules that support industry-standard device plates. The 4-gang box holds two device modules. The 2-gang version has one module with storage space for active A/V components. The box installs in steel and wood-stud walls in new construction or retrofit projects.

“Legrand developed this new box to meet the growing use of flat screens for multiple purposes, including digital signage,” comments Michael Cole, Legrand's product marketing manager. “This box supports the full range of communications, while also keeping the screen as close as possible to the wall, which is a major customer concern.”
