After extensive research and development, Sticklers announced that it will unveil a new fiber-optic cleaning tool at three major fiber industry events this fall, including ECOC 2022 in Switzerland, the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in the United States and Data Centre World in Singapore.
Brand new to the market, the company contends the new tool is a breakthrough in fiber-optic end face cleaning.
"Unlike anything else in the industry, it perfectly cleans oil and dust across the full end face to the ferrule edge," states a company press release. "[The tool] will change the way fiber technicians work and significantly improve their fiber cleaning effectiveness and performance."
“We’ve kept this new cleaning tool a tightly-held secret until the big release at the industry shows,” adds Rick Hoffman, commercial sales manager for Sticklers. “Sticklers has a long history developing products in response to our customers’ evolving cleaning challenges and this new, ground-breaking product is no different. The largest trade shows in the industry are the perfect platform to give a sneak peek at the prototype, before we go into full-scale launch.”
In addition to the new cleaning tool, at the upcoming events Sticklers will also be highlighting the other products from its fiber-optic cleaning products portfolio, including the company's FTTH and FTTA fiber cleaning kits.
